After reassembling & upgrading, my PII-300 is recognized as running with only 166 MHz, says Dr.Hardware. CPU and Mobo (DFI-P2xlx-e with Intel LX-chipset)are old, no Jumpers switched, CPU-System clock as always at 66 Mhz. But i changed the Ram to 64 MB SDRAM-133 - Could this be the reason ? Wrong bios-Settings (Award)?
