Hi

www.webopedia.com (http://www.webopedia.com)

Short for Mud, Object Oriented, a specific implementation of a MUD system developed by Stephen white. MOO is in the public domain and can be freely downloaded and executed.

...or Master of Orion, a classic space strategy game.
Most likely to be the MOO of the MUD and MUSH variety though http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

You might like to try somewhere like http://www.mudconnect.com/ for examples. There are also forums which discuss coding, gameplay etc...

Fire up that telnet client and good luck!
