MicroStar MS-6195 Owners

How many of you have a MSI MS-6195 K7Pro MoBo and believe or were led to believe that the MoBo has 2 USB on back and optionally 2 USB plugs toward the front for front connection bringing the total to 4 USB's?

How many of you think you bought the board thinking you were buying a MoBo that was 4 USB capable?

I'm looking for some information fast.

Does anyone know of any retailers that are currently advertising this board with 4 USB's?

A bit confusing.

I have the MS-6337 ver1 which says it has 4USB - Hold on - Just checked my manual which states "2 USB controller/4USB ports"
Maybe this is where the confusion is coming in with the various advert/reviews. My m/board only came with 2 ports with the option (if I buy the cable/plate) for 2 more.
Still the different sites appear confusing on face value. Whats your manual have in it?

You hit on what's going on! My manual, the manual I down-loaded from MSI, the advertisment I ordered from, and MSI Tw, all state 2 on back with "optional" 2 for front. Like you said yours does "if I buy the cable/plate".

I bought the cable/plate and when I went to install it, there was only solder points where the connector plugs were suppose to be. I finally got ahold of MSI TS for the U.S. and they first told me it was a mis-print in my manual. I then called them back with the MSI TW web-site to back what I was telling them.

Now they're choking, trying to figure out what to do, and they're telling me that only the Tiawan site still has the bad info and they don't know why.

So, for more backing, I also told them that there is still a number of retailers that are stating that it has 2 + optional 2. On this they challenged me to find some of them. I have found a couple, + the one's you listed, brings it to 5.

The problem I'm having with them is that I bought it believing it was 2 + optional 2 and I don't feel I should have paid for 4 based on the advertising and info right from them stating it is 4. To me, this is deceptive advertising and sales.
