CAn some one help me with this problem : I use a 286 cpu ( old he ) not for working but it's connected to a machine to do some test via a card plugged into the 286 and it only works with a 286 .. it works fine till today when he stopped and on the top of the screen these text appears "cmos in operation " then "System holded" and then nothing anymore. The battery is ok , that i tested.
Any solution ? Or a suggestion where the fault occurs ?

First thing i would check is that the keyboard is properly plugged in and functioning correctly.
