Sound Card on VH6-II

HI All,

I just installed the Abit VH6-II and opted for the integrated sound card. Now I know it's not supposed to be the greatest thing but there's a major static or noise issue on the card, even when I move my mouse around. I've heard and used the integrated sound card on the PC Chips board and it wasn't as bad as this. Do I have a faulty motherboard or is this a known problem with Abit.

Check with abit to see if there is an updated driver for the onboard sound. Often times they release them without getting all the bugs out.

I have two Abit VH6(not VH-II) boxes built by myself. I did not get such problem. hence I double your VH-II may have some default. I suggest to call the Abit support.
