Someone please help. I recently was given a computer with an Octek Rhino 12+ motherboard that had 16MB ram supplied by two 8MB 72 pin SIMM chips. I wanted to upgrade to 64MB ram. When a 64MB DIMM was placed in the DIMM bank the machine only registered 32 MB RAM. The Tech at the store that did this said it was because the motherboard was outdated for the DIMM. Is this the problem or does it have to do with the 5.0V to 3.3V jumpers? Do I have to revert to using paired SIMMs? Any info you have would sure help.

I buy my memory through www.crucial.com (http://www.crucial.com) and they have a memory upgrade feature that might tell you what memory you can use on that board. Their tech support may be able to help you out also.

Good luck.
