Suggestions on new MB

Can anyone suggest a good mid-range MB that would be my first "Slot" board. I have been using Socket 7 til this point. Would prefer 133 mhz and up with Ultra DMA/ ATA 100 compliance. Plan on building new machine from MB on up. Thanks

do you already hab a slot cpu?
if yes, which one?
if not, i wouldn't go for any slot board any more cause there is very limited upgrade capacity - slot is dying out.
instead i would go for socket a - which means amd duron or t-bird. amd is much cheaper than intel and performs at least equal.
i've got an abit kt7 and i would recommend it. there is also a kt7a for the new 133mhz fsb athlons.
if you want to go for intel, there is the asus cubx or the asus cusl on which you can run both pentium 3 and celeron 2
