hi. me and my friend just bought kt7a mobo with tbird 1.2ghz 266bus. both me and my friend having same problem which is when we turn on the computer.. there is no screen just black and there is beeping sound about 4times then shuts down itself. we are completely stuck and have no idea whats causing this. plz help us.

Did you plugged the CPU HS/F into CPUFAN1 ? If you're not, mobo won't boot, also you need your fan spin at least 2000 rpm ...

Some people have had a problem with shorting out this motherboard against the mounting plate or case. Check for proper clearance under the motherboard. Also check the points where the screws or studs attach the board. This board also has interrupt sharing between one of the PCI slots and another device so check your manual. monarchcomputer.com says that this board does not support Asus GeForce2 video cards.
