anyone have suggestions for a motherboard supporting dual pentium 2's? I'm getting 2 pentium 2 300Mhz processors for free and need to put them to use. Features I'd prefer are built in sound and built in video, but i'd like to be able to disable them in bios or through a jumper in case i want to not use the onboard sound/video anymore.
Thanks

benchristian: If PII 300s are slot one, check out the Asus P2B-D. The price has come down to around $250 I think. Why would anyone want integrated sound and video?

Since those PII-300 are 66 MHz bus, you might want to look for a bargain PC-Chips M720-II.
That's a straightforward dual slot-1 board built around Intel's 440LX chipset.
Or its successor M750. 100 MHz capable BX chipset and onboard graphics.
These both are old boards, but that's what you need. They've never been expensive, so you might get a real bargain on them now. Just make sure you get the IOAPIC module as well.

I have a great Asus P2L97-DS motherboard for sale.
Supports dual P2 233-333 MHz with 60, 66, 75 MHz FSB settings (great for slight overclocking).
Price $100 including shipping in the US (Canada add $10.00).
Email me for details.

I've decided that I don't want integrated video cuz i'm replacing my current video card and can use that one...integrated sound would still be prefered because i don't forsee me getting a new sound card in the near future.
BTW ~ Do you have any software that makes use of dual processors?
Hi,
I like the asus P2B-D. It is a very stable motherboard. It is using the BX chipset and thus offers 66 and 100MHz FSB (and also 133, but that's overclocking... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif)
I am also using an old Supermicro P6BDS with 2 PII266... nice board as well.
