You have to close the jumper. Open is for processors using a 50mhz FSB. Closed is for processors using a 60, 66 (like yours) or 75mhz FSB.

Ronald FZWG 02-16-2001, 12:46 AM On BEK-5731 Mbrd, JP5 (AT Bus CLOCK Select) provides the following options: OPEN: SYSCLK Divided by 3 (For 75, 125MHZ CPU) CLOSED: SYSCLK Divided by 4 (For other CPU) The CPU is a Pentium Speed 200/66Bus on a Socket 7. Based on the above info, should this jumper be open or closed? My GUESS is leave OPEN, but appreciate some expertise. Thank you for your reply. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif [This message has been edited by FZWG (edited 02-15-2001).] FZWG 02-16-2001, 08:43 AM Hmmm. I'm confused. Doesn't the processor run at some multiple of the mbrd speed? Was led to believe that the P200 is a 3x clock. If that is the case, shouldn't JP5 (AT bus Clock)be left open for SYSCLK divided by 3? I'm just a rookie at this stuff; just want to make sure I understand some of these things. Appreciate your help. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif FZWG 03-22-2001, 07:23 PM SYSCLK/4 was the correct setting. Figured out what you were talking about. Thank you for the help.
