In general? or on SysOpt? In general, it's pretty inaccurate, only gets the opinions of those willing to participate. On SysOpt, I like them since they show the way a lot of people think. Also makes for a good discussion, and often I will take up the other side just to bring out the good ideas.

Polling on Sysopt, I agree, It's nice to hear what's on the minds of some of the 'puter experts around here. I read a resent post responce here where a member was a bit negative on jibberish that didn't pertain to tech-talk. That's why there is a place in Sysopt for BOTH! Stay in the Tech Support areas if that's what you want. Check out the Gen Discussion area if you want to find out how other members think. What interests them. Become a little more personal & get to know others! Gain insight on who you should trust in the tech area! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

I'm not a big fan of message board polling because everytime one is started, 3 are spawned from it. It would be quite alright if there was just a few, but we get bombarded by them, and often they are ones that have been asked before...

it would be neat if users could set up a poll thread that had radio buttons and gave percents and stuff. socalgal, ever seen anything like that?
