I bought an used Lucky Tech P6BX2 motherboard. The board boots up OK. However Windows 98 will hang up when it tries to install the driver for PCI-ISA bridge. I found that the BIOS on the board is for Intel 400ZX chipset. P6BX2 has 400BX chipset. This might caused the problem. I tried to flash the BIOS will the latest BX BIOS file from Lucky Tech. However, the AWDFLASH won't allow me the flash the BIOS chip. AWDFLASH gave a "File type mismatch" error message. How can I flash the correct BX BIOS into the chip?

Use a flsh program called Mr flash found at MrBios. It will flash anything to any chip it can detect. Be very sure you have the correct file for your board.
