P3V133 with troubles

Hi Guys ! Anyone knows what could be happen with this mobo. Sometimes the systems lock, just lock, for few seconds and turn to work again. This happens all the time. Is not temperature because the cpu is totally cool at touch. The mouse still remain working, but numlock, caps lock or any other button in the keyboard doesnt work. No other hicups, just this. If I am connected the browser shows me that stay frozen during this hicups but 5 or 10 seconds later all back to normal. The cpu is one PIII-600E, it was overclocked to 798(133x6)but even back to 600 the problem persist.

Hey Ricardo, I'm not the smartest guy with 'puters but what I have tried is going back to the BIOS and set it back to the original settings. Sometimes that works. When you restart, hit whichever F button takes you back to the BIOS and reset to original. Best I can do. Jerry

Thanks Jerry, but I did your suggestion before and nothing happens. The problem still remain. I upgraded my drivers and Bios and shutdown almost all programs in the tray bar, didn't help too! My suspect is that the Win98 have some problem and maybe a fresh installation could help, I don't know!
