board is 5156.chip is mmx? 1.56 gig. win95.will a bigger chip or more mem make it download faster?has 32 meg ram in small slots. 72 pin simm?what are the longer slots for next to them?168pin dimm?

The long memory slots are for sdram memory. Consult your board manual to see what it will accept. More memory is a good idea. Download speed may be dependent on your modem and the condition of your phone line... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

says modem is 28.8 .max is 256 mb.supports sdram,eda,fpdram.

A faster modem will get you faster downloads, no matter what CPU speed you have.

Want faster browsing? Add more memory. CPU speed doesn't matter much either.
