I've decided to buy myself an Athlon T'Bird 1GHz, but I've got a choice of these two motherboards to seat it on. I would appreciate any comments from users of:
MSI K7T Turbo-R
ABit KT7A-RAID
Which one do I go for?
Thx,
Rich

Seems the Abit has a lot of returns...go here and read:

After almost a month of reading reviews and user comments, I am looking pretty hard at the Iwill KK266

I bought a Asus A7V for my 1.2 tbird and it has run rock solid for over two months now. I was debating about getting an Abit or a MSI but I finally bought the Asus. My friend got the MSI and it runs good too. I have been very happy with the Asus. I wanted ATA-100 support and the Asus had native support for it so that was the deciding factor. I put two sticks of PC-133 Muchkin Cas2 ram in there and it purrs. I play Q3A, UT and Nascar4 all day long and it is rock solid. I even have my wife hooked up with internet connection sharing and it still smokes!!! I would highly recommend that you take a look at the Asus. The ATA-100 really makes a difference as far as I am concerned.
Good luck,
Cebu
