I had reports the BIOS drops temps by 7-10C.
Keep in mind:
- do NOT use software cooling. It'll cause CPU to get hot and BIOS fix won't help.
- you MUST be using a Duron.
- if you're using some special cooling solution, don't expect temps will drop a lot.

Hello Daniel.

I'm not using any software cooling.
My CPU is a Duron.
My Cooler is a Chrome Orb.

I tried the A7V133 bios too, but no success. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif Do you know what could be wrong?

Regards.

Hi Daniel

Please keep only one active thread on the same topic - no multiple posting. Thanks.

Don't bother, this BIOS showed up a couple of days ago, but it doesn't work. Somebody checked it against the official ASUS bioses and it is identical.

BTW Braziliantech is not in my list of reliable sites. It also has some stuff that cannot be found anywhere else, so I am a bit reluctant.

Actually these BIOS work. While for some people it doesn't help, for other it does.
My BIOSes are NOT identical. I'm writing a article to explain these fixes. I'm NOT an idiot and i DON'T want to screw up somebody. I DID my BIOSes look like the ASUS ones, because this gives you a nice impression. It's funny to see people using CBROM 1006.BIN /D and tell you: there is no changes, he's a liar, his site sucks. If you don't like, just don't use it. I know it'll help some people.
