trying to find type of mobo that is using ALi chipsets M1429 A1/M1431 A2 with 1-8bit slot, 6-16bit slots, 8x30pin simms, MR.BIOS and AMIBIOS chips, 1 socket for 486sx,dx or 487sx or M6 or P24T. also trying to find settings for an ABit AH4 mobo,ABIt`s web is no help, board is not working, no manual

The Abit jumper settings should be in the mobo manual... If you don't have one, I'd suggest looking at Abit's site for that manual (probably PDF format)
