I've been looking around and still haven't found exactly what I need. I know some "Flash" programs can read/write bios files, but my bios chip is too old to run a Flash on (could dystroy). Here's some info:
My onboard keyboard is broke, and I don't have the money for parts.
The external keyboard will only work after cmos batt. is disconnected for a while; then it only works the first time I boot (so I can enter bios setup, load default values, reboot; then it won't work).
The cmos program (that I no longer have) that came with the computer could save cmos configurations to file and load that file. So, I'm looking for program(s) that can edit bios/save configuration/load configuration, without rebooting! I'm working from the library and can't d/l more than 1.38mb at a time.
