When I boot my sys up 4 ou tof 5 times I get a green line across the top of my screen and the cpu freezes. Any thoughts on how to fix this. I have a 1 gig t-bird and 256 pc-133 ram.

Are you doing any overclocking? What video card do you have? Did it ever work before or is this a new occurrence?

it could be a problem with the video card or some sort of memory error. make sure all settings are defaults and if you have an agp video card, at 4x try it at 2x

Well I did some overclocking but I went back to default settings. I have a creative labs 32 meg tnt2 tv out card. Im going to switch it to the second pci slot and try that. Thing pisses me off. Then out of the blue it well work. Just love computers!

I am going through the very same thing from time to time and am pretty sure it stems from video to mobo drivers.

let me guess you own a Abit KT7 RAID, Nvidia sound card as well?
