I'm trying to optimize a system here. AMD K6-2 333, 64 Mb PC133.

Board supports 50,60,66,75 and 83 Mhz. Clearly stated on site that CPU must not exceed 333 Mhz because of power consumption.

Currently set at 5x66, I think it would be a good idea to put 4x83 to maximize memory access. There is no indication, on manual or site of what the PCI bus speed would be using that speed. Anyone knows ?

Since the board is meant for 66mhz operation, the PCI bus probably has a 1/2 multiplier (to get 33mhz). At 83mhz that would mean about 41.5 for the PCI bus. That should't pose a problem for most cards and the CPU should be fine considering it was ment for 95mhz FSB anyway.

What board is that?

You'll get correct PCI bus speeds only if that board uses an SiS or ALi chipset.

This board is a Spacewalker HOT-569, Intel 430TX based.
