There are no SocketA motherboards with 2 ISA slots at the moment (please correct me if I'm wrong - but I've looked). I suggest the EPoX 8KTA3 or 3+ over the Asus or Abit boards. It has more settings available and no problems (I've heard that the Abit mobo has some problems). There have been some awesome reviews of the 8KTA3 - you can find them listed at http://www.epox.com

Sorry about your ISA cards! Maybe it's time to upgrade one of those cards?

I hope the Epox with KT133 isn't as buggy as the KX133. That annoyed the hell out of me. Most of it was in the bios, but still a flaky board.

one isa slot is cool as long as there is onboard sound. does that help?

hi

I would hold off on the Epox 133A board until after the boot issues are resolved.

The Asus, Abit,Iwill and MSI versions look good.

The EPoX 8KTA3 has onboard sound.

From the reviews and newsgroup postings, I understand that the EPoX 8KTA3 is not buggy at all, but extremely rock solid stable. The 8KTA3 and 3+ are KT133A boards and do not have the boot problems that the previous ones had.

Bluecore: Please tell me where I can read about these boot issues you're talkin' about. I've been researching and haven't found anything negative about the 8KTA3.

Just curious but why would U want onboard sound as U could get any Vortex2 or Live Value card for under $50. Also what will be going into the ISA slot? Just that these things that go into the ISA slots WILL slow down your system especially if U are gaming.
BTW the A7V has an ARM slot which has good onboard sound and a modem if that helps.

According to my manual, ABIT do a KT7 with onboard sound. Haven't looked though, but may be worth a try.
Good Luck.

from what i have read the kt133 is far superior in stability and performance/features to the kx version, however this is what i have read, not first hand experiance.
