Does anyone know if I can run a 40 Gb hard drive with my Asus P5a-b motherboard? I was thinking I may have to update the BIOS to do so. Anyone actually have to do this?

Thanks, Keith scotter 01-31-2001, 01:13 AM taken from here http://www.asus.com/Products/Motherboard/bios_socket7.html#p5a-b P5A-B W/O Audio BIOS ver. 1010, 05/31/2000 Support IDE HDD larger than 32G Bytes. so yes if your not running bios 1010 then you need to upgrade to it for 40gig support SysOpt.com
