Dazed and confused Peter M 01-29-2001, 12:00 AM ECS boards are built to be cheap workhorses. You can't cut corners on reliability issues, so what they're doing to keep cost low is include just the bare minimum of (i.e. zero) extra features. The outcome is boards that are reliable, stable and fast at stock speeds, but usually have zero funny bits to play with - including overclocker's favorites like voltage adjust or frequency tuning. However, the money you save from choosing the K7VZA over an Asus or Epox overclocker's delight will easily buy you the faster CPU ... btw, its twin K7VMA with integrated VGA is on its way too. Will be about $10 more - just for those that don't need high performance 3D right now and want to upgrade later.
