Win ME Item of Note

Something I noticed in Windows ME, is that it defaults to doing automatic windows updates with no notification. You have to set it to update manualy if you don't want it phoning home to microsoft. Hmmm, I wonder if they have anticipated UCITA and the remote cutoff option?

All the betas of WinMe I have tried have had it. I think the first I tried was build 2114 or something close to that.
