Wondering if anyone has had this problem with their KT7-RAID board:

Mobo tends to drive the cpu voltage higher then it should. For instance... In my system (800mhz), I would have the following voltage readings:

BIOS Set voltage: 1.70
Actual voltage: 1.76
Temp: >99c !! Uhh... yea http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Adjusting the voltage with the BIOS down a bit lead me to this:

BIOS Set voltage: 1.60 (or about there)
Actual voltage: 1.69
Temp: 40c <much better>!

So... fixable, but those who don't play with it might have trouble.

What say you? http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I have the same problem. I have my core voltage set at 1.72 and VIA HM reads back 1.80-1.81. My CPU temp is 39 C / 82 F. I have an 800 TB o/c'd to 900. I could post at 950, but I'd get exception errors and Win98 wouldn't load.

I've noticed the same problems. I'll check when I get home to see what the difference is.
