Wondering if anyone has had this problem with their KT7-RAID board:
Mobo tends to drive the cpu voltage higher then it should. For instance... In my system (800mhz), I would have the following voltage readings:
BIOS Set voltage: 1.70
Actual voltage: 1.76
Temp: >99c !! Uhh... yea http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
Adjusting the voltage with the BIOS down a bit lead me to this:
BIOS Set voltage: 1.60 (or about there)
Actual voltage: 1.69
Temp: 40c <much better>!
So... fixable, but those who don't play with it might have trouble.
What say you? http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
