Value Card in my system and when I installed the drivers and programs for it and restarted, I noticed the boot time was longer, so I disabled the startup programs (playcenter, launcher, etc.) and it still didn't work. It still boots up for a long time when my desktop shows up! What now? runnin_guy 04-23-2000, 01:15 PM I had a similar problem with my SB PCI 64 card when I installed it into Win9x. I found out that the gameport/joystick was the problem. Since I don't use this feature, I just disabled it in all profiles, and the computer started up much quicker.
