in the review of the be6-2 you said "Socket 370 to Slot 1 risers are fairly common now, so even Socket 370 processors can be used with ease." there is no such thing as a riser from socket370 to slot1.

The author was describing a Slotket adapter, which allows Socket 370 processors to be used in Slot 1 boards. Although his choice of words in that case is somewhat ambiguous, in the context of a review of a Slot 1 board, it makes sense.

It can be stated either way, and i have seen it written both ways.
If they say S370->Slot1, it's a card that allows a S370 CPU to fit into a Slot1.

If they say Slot1->S370, then the card converts the slot1 on the mainboard into a S370, so that a S370 CPU can fit in it.

They are the same exact 'slocket', but stated in different ways
