Anyone got an ETA on the KT133a Boards?

Saw one review..you can basically ramp up the FSB just like you do on Intel boards now...like 155Mhz and beyond. In DDR-speak, thats alota Mhz.

Anyways, does anyone have a vague clue of when we can start buying these boards?

The two big ones are probably gunna be the same as in the KT133 Market - the Asus A7V133 and the Abit KT7A-RAID. Anyone have an ETA on either of these?

Usually when somethings not out yet, but soon to be out, pricewatch has at least one dealer with a price and an ETA. Nowhere to be found.

Mid Jan? End of month? Feburary more realistic?

Abit, Asus and Soltek to name a few have KT133A boards out. Check out ibuyer.net for comparison shopping. Check out anandtech, tomshardware, hardocp and overclockers for reviews. Also Maximum Pc is a good mag for reviews in print and at their web page.

Those are all previewsor reviews of engineering samples. Also, I just looked up
KT133A on Pricewatch and ibuyer, and I get no return.

Well, according to tomshardware.com, there is a design flaw, and my guess is we won't see good, compatible boards until sometime in March at the earliest.

The article came out yesterday (Jan. 4, 2001) titled "The Three Musketeers - Athlon Platforms for 133 Mhz FSB"

An update - the Epox is out, and one company has the Abit KT7A-(RAID) Out, but there no on Resellerratings.com
As soon as a KT7A by a reseller with a good reputable rating on RR.com comes out, Im gettin one!
Im glad I dont gotta wait til feb.

tccomputers.com has them now. I looked at them last night. Also the Asus DDR board with 266fsb.

Good prices on boards. High on ram.

They are offline today though.
