I have an older PH5400V mainboard and recently removed my 32meg simms and replaced with (2) 64M SDRAM for a total of 128 which according to the manual the board will accept. The problem is the BIOS still only sees 32mb of ram.

Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!

According to the manual my chipset is
Intel 82430 VX PCIset, It also claims the max memory can be 128mv SDRAM, the mfg website claims PC 100 can be used but will run at 66mhz.

First of all, newer PC133 or even PC100 may have fail to check in this board, then you gonna see less memory than installed. If it's so, you should look for PC66 memory.
Or, you should check if there is newer BIOS update available for you mobo.

Best Regards ...

What chipset does that board use? Very old chipsets are very limited in their SDRAM size-per-chip driving capability.

Intel 430VX and VIA Apollo VP-1 for example are limited to 16 mega_bits_ per chip, meaning the largest DIMM you can run is 32-mega_byte_, double sided, 16 chips.

Make sure you have the latest BIOS. Some older boards faults can be corrected with new BIOS.
