NDC 01-04-2001, 09:55 AM Yeah, I use a Soltek EV-1 on one of my systems and it has been rock-stable at 124FSB. I found the the Soltek mainboards to be quite reliable. However, if you're looking for a mainboard with good overclocking features such as FSB control in small increments. I wouldn't recommend Soltek mainboards. They seem to have very limited FSB control. Otherwise, I'm very happy with it..... For overclocking features, personally, I've had great luck with ABIT mainboards. One of my other system is runnning a BE6-II and that system is also running rock stable at 124FSB. The good thing about ABIT mainboards are that they have a feature called "Soft Menu" which you can raise the FSB in increments of 1, unlike most boards that have FSB settings of 103,112,124,133,etc..... The other great feature is that you have 4 IDE ports which will allow you to connect up to 8 IDE devices. That was the primary reason I got the ABIT BE6-II. I will go with the Abit KTA7 when it becomes available. I was leary of the Abit board, after reading some horror stories on BB's. It is my intention to OC a 750 Duron and the "Soft Menu" bios IS a big plus. SysOpt.com
