I bought the Abit SE6 mobo and had it working with my friends V3 3000 agp card fine. I benchmarked it with 3D Mark 2000 and then put my Geforce 2 GTS PRO in and benchmarked it just to compare results. I put my friend V3 3000 back in and now I got overheating problems (70 degrees C)! I know that I have completely uninstalled the Geforce, taken care of all the registry settings, and set the mobo back to 2x AGP. I've even pulled the jumper to reset the mobo. What could be the problem?

sounds to me like you're not getting enough air flow through your system. how many fans do you have running? you should have at the bare minimum one intake and one output fan in the case (the former in the front and the latter in the back). if you're gonna run hardcore equipment (e.g., your geforce card), you should probably have more fans and stuff running.

I've got two intake fans and two output fans. The problem is the V3 3000 is overheating, not the Geforce.
