Which of the 815's are better? What is the difference between 815E and 815EP? Is the 440BX better?

NDD 01-04-2001, 02:59 AM Intel i815EP is equal to i815E, but EP doesn't have built-in video adapter. i815EP based system may be more suitable for somebody who already has video card, or simply doesn't want to use built-in solution offered by Intel, since it's slow and don't support more than 8 MB shared memory for video. i440BX was one of the best boards about two years ago, but since it supports only AGP 2x, UDMA/66 and lacks few more things, it's highly adviced to go for i815EP.
