Case Form Factor Questions

Once upon a Time I THOUGHT I knew what form factors were..

WRONG !!

I bought a case that I thought was an ATX.

Wrong again.

The mobo opening where the slots are is only 9" wide, much too small for my ATX mobo.

So I look, AT, ATX, BAT, MAT, BATX, MATX
OK, so I made up a couple of them, sue me http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

As best as I can tell, this thing takes a BATX or a MATX. Whazzat, baby ATX & Micro ATX ?

Any ideas as to the mobo that will fit here.

I have one junker with a PC Chips MOBO, LMR598 something, that will fit in there..

yeah there are some smaller atx form factors out now to accomodate those itty bitty pc's that are out for you know people who hate big towers (not i give me my expandability) looks like you got stuck with one of those.

Doc you should be able to fit that board in an old 6-71 housing. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif
