Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Any Bios settings to overclock a BE-6?
I have an ABIT BE6 mobo with a PIII-450.
I am having trouble overclocking it.
I had done it once a while back. It seems there were some bios settings I needed to make first.
Any tips or suggestions are appreciated.

Welcome to SysOpt!
Your processor's multiplier is locked, so no matter what you set, it will be 4.5. Changing the Clock Frequency is the first step. Work your way up until the system won't run. Then go back and raise the Core Voltage a little.
For better understanding and more information, a good place to begin is right here at SysOpt's Overclocking Guide (http://sysopt.earthweb.com/overc.html) .
