DSL where is it & where will it be?

hi,

does anybody know if there is a DSL service provider here in the middle east or more specificaly Jordan? or do you know if there is anybody that is going to bring DSL or any broadband service( sattelite internet, cable, DSL)to the middle east?
could you like search for it or something because i am really getting sick of my 33.6k connection ( thats the max phone lines here will support untill Jordan Telecom upgrades their phone lines).
please help.
