error beeps

Hi,
I am getting the following beeps when i switch on ->two high pitched then one longer low pitched,then nothing on monitor only 'power LED' no 'aux LED'.However when i push reset it starts up no problem?

Any help appreciated

PS Award Bios and have recently added memory.

Its the memory. When i installed new memory for the first time I got 3 beeps and the cmop wouldnt work. IT was becuase i had 2 different in compatible types of memory in teh slots. Also i think it canmean that the memory isnt seated proporly. Try making sure that it is seated properly and then take out the new mem and put in teh old mem to see if it still happenes.

Do you know why it would start perfectly after the reset as I thought the problem would have persisted?
