256 Mag. ram question.

It is a goog idea to put a stick of 256 mag. pc133 ram or 2 X 128 mags of pc133 of ram on my Asus P2B-F??

Performance wise, everything should be equal, its just if you want to be able to add more memory later, but why? Most people won't gain much from more than 256. Go with whichever is cheaper, but I would say 1 chip is preferable.

Well, it depends. How many more DIMMS will you have open if you add two 128 mb modules? If you are like me (I have only two DIMMS and one for expansion) then you should go for the singal 256 module if you have limited room, but you really wont need 256 mb RAM anyway unless your a graphics programming savy :> ).
