I have a pc chips M572 motherboard I purchased a AMD K-6 2 300 I was told this cpu would work but I cant set the cpu speed is there any thing I can do to get this to work.

Peter M 11-25-2000, 05:33 AM As far as I remember, the 572 is jumperless already - enter BIOS Setup, page "CPU", set to "User" mode, and choose 66 MHz, 4.5x multiplier, and 2.2V. There you go, 300 MHz. You might have to update BIOS before being able to do so - www.pcchips.com.tw/BIOS.html (http://www.pcchips.com.tw/BIOS.html) has what you're looking for.
