I just received my 650 Pentium 3 and installed it into my board ( Soyo SY-6VBA 133 ) and when I tried to boot it up it won't go past the DMI verification. It sees the hard drives, the processor and the ram. It stops just when you see it say Booting from boot log. I've cleared the BIOS and reset defaults, no good. Now to make things worse when I put back the original processor a 333 Celeron I'm getting the same thing, no bootup. Is this a bad mobo? I know I didn't zap anything, I've built many towers so I'm careful but could pressing the CPU in break a connection? I've never been not able to try to boot any ideas Thanks

Have you tried clearing the BIOS and resetting all options to factory defualt settings?

Like a goofball I didn't read the small print in the documentation. It said to unplug wile clearing the BIOS. Did that and everything is fine. Thanks for the help made me backtrack myself and dig deeper.
