Thanks in advance. thekingofpain 11-07-2000, 05:50 PM Depends on your bios version, the early one "TL" had some known probs and this may be your prob: Setting "Fast Writes Supported" to "Supported" in Advanced Chipset Features Setup does not enable fast writes when "Enhance Chip Performance" is enabled... Check your bios version, the "UL" version fixes the fast write prob... otheos 11-07-2000, 05:56 PM Thanks, I use the UL Bios. I like the KT7 but when it comes to BIOS tweaking my A7V is far easier to understand what you do. So in the UL you have to have both Fast Writes and Enhanced Chip Perf to enable to make it work? BTW, does UL only support multipliers up to 10x (that's the max I get)? Thanks again. thekingofpain 11-07-2000, 07:15 PM Im using the UL bios and have NO ability to raise my FSB, yet with this 750 im able to crank the multi to 12.5, im using PC150 ram at 133 and no lower multi with increased fsb will work, I guess I cant complain...it allows me to do whatever I want at, 1250!... otheos 11-08-2000, 01:05 AM That's good stuff KOP.
