Kite..Your boss(mom) gave the go ahead to start the next one. This one needs to be upgradeable since the first experiment is finished. Get some info on what you would like to build and send me the specs so I can be on the lookout. Proud of you for such quick work.

Guys, applause is definatley in order, Kite put the first one together very quickly, only having disassembled/assembled two (about 20 min each) in my office about a week prior. He purchased everything for himself, wrote his own specs and decided he wanted a case with slide out motherboard tray so he could get quick access for overclocking experiments ..(sniff...) I'm so proud.(sniff...sniff). Joking aside, He knew where everything went and we left him the modem to install at home without supervision. Did excellent work, very patient and intuitive.

Reminds me of myself about 9months ago - milked some money out of religious occasions and put together a machine - k6-2 350, 32mb ram.

Well done!! Hope ye stay around!! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Congrats and well done
Try to keep in practice though.I built an old AT system a few days ago and I couldn't remember if it was black towards the midlle or on the outside.stumped me for ten minutes.

Congrats with your first time.Building a CPU (Central Processing Unit) is tough and a real challenge.Too bad it is only a computer.
I always build my own computer (I have never bought a complete one,I always buy in parts)
