my be6-2 failed at 150 mhz bus speed.
my hard disks crashed!
piii coppermine 667 (133)
cpu runs stable @165
any suggestions for another great bx mobo for >150 mhz bus?

Probably not your board, but your EB chip, at 150 thats 750 mhz, they just dont go for that very well, if it was a 650-700E you would probably be near or above 900 easily and digging it by now...

The BE6-2 is the best BX board for high bus speeds in my opinion...which is what you just had.
Sure it wasnt your AGP card?
That sucker might be toasty at 100Mhz AGP bus.

150 mhz is no problem at all. i ran it on an asus cubx and no problems. no problems with cpu heat(golden orb isnt even warm). i think my greatest problems are the udma66 controllers. the cmd chip on the asus board does it and the hpt on the abit crashes my harddisks everytime.
my memory isnt a problem too. i have got infineon 5.4ns.
any suggestions how i could reach 165 mhz bus speed?
i would have tried it with the asus but the max fsb setting is 150.
