are there any special tricks to enabling ps/2 mouse on the bh6 motherboard? after plugging mine in, windows won't detect it. it'll come out with that "no mouse detected. you can plug a serial one in now bla bla" dialog everytime i boot up.

Not sure about the bh6, but many boards feature a BIOS option to enable p/s2 mouse control. Take a look in your CMOS setup.
