Hello.
`Has anyone with this board upgraded there BIOS from 1001a to 1002 and noticed the CPU temp. reading higher in the BIOS? Thanks

Yes. This is one of the issues the Bios update was supposed to correct. The original readings were slightly low. The updated Bios over compensates, resulting in an even more inaccurate reading, which is much too high.

You can use Motherboard Monitor and the Asus Probe utilities (They can both be installed, but run one or the other at any one time.) and check the temp from there. It'll be much lower, but in light of the false bios readings, the reported values from these utilities are questionable too.
