I bought this m/b, some sites say it will run the amd k6-3+450,it does not state this in o/m? It is a DFI K6XV3+/66 board.

DFI's FAQ (on <A HREF="http://www.dfi.com" TARGET=_blank>www.dfi.com</A> or was it .com.tw) say something like "the K6-2+ and K6-III+ were originally developped for mobile computing, but if you happen to have one, then you should set core voltage to 2.0V and go ahead", the product specification on the .tw site has K6-2+ on the list of supported processors, and the BIOS update list says they added K6-2+ CPU identification a while ago.

Looks like you're all set to go ahead with a K6-2+ or -III+.

Great my K3 450+ is on the way, I didn't know if board would see the cpu in bios. I hope to hit 550.That should make me the fastest 7 board out there. These board our great and cheap. tccomputer has them for 72$.
