i have a k6-2 550 on an azza pt-5vmd 64mb voodo3-2000. This is the worst computer i ever had. An no time is it ever stable. after. The longer it is on the less stable it gets. i usually got those blue screens r sometimes just a regular error message. I reinstalled windows 98 se 2 times so it cant be that. Im not sure what to do

Stability increasing with uptime points to a cooling problem, usually on the CPU. Improve the heat transfer from the processor to the fan/heatsink combo by application of thermal grease, and check whether the f/h is (a) adequate for your CPU and (b) not broken.

I have also owned a few AZZA socket7 boards in the past, and I would recommend changing all the memory speed settings in your BIOS to normal or slower. At fast or turbo, I consistently had stability problems, even with CAS 2 PC-100 certified memory.

Peter also offers an excellent idea, check your cooling. I have "repaired" many systems by just cleaning the CPU heatsink, applying thermal grease, and placing the heatsink back on the CPU.

Good Luck,
Robert Richmond
