I have the Abit BF6 motherboard. It's a BX board, but the BIOS update states that it 'adds support for 1GHz P3 at 133MHz.' It's my understanding that a BX board won't support a 133 BUS. Is this true? If so, what's the biggest 100MHz CPU out there I can use??

That's right the BX doesn't support 133MHz and that means your motherboard won't support one either.

the bf6 will work with the 133 fsb, it supports up to a 150 fsb...as to you being able to use it...thats something else.
the problem with the 133fsb on a bx chipset is the agp divider is either 1/1 or 2/3, so if you have an agp vid card it must be able to run at 100agp bus. however later bx chipsets do support a 1/4 divider on the pci bus so as long as you run all pci cards you will be within spec. as an example go and look at the abit bx133 raid motherboard and several other motherboards that are marketed for the pentium3 EB processors.

I agree with Neo. I have heard of people running the BF6 at 133. I can get mine to 124 with my 100MHz based cpus. The BX133 is basically the exact same board with slight mods to add the highpoint ATA100 RAID. I think it will run it but the BX AGP does not have the correct AGP divciders for 133 and thus you would be highly OCing your video. We had that problem witht he BX133...

Hmmm. Sounds like I'm safest just to get a 100MHz cpu. Any ideas which one is the biggest? I'm thinking the Slot 1 - 850.
