Does anybody know of a web service that allows you to track orders currently being shipped by major shipping services Fedex/UPS using only your name/address? The reason I'm asking is that I can swear I've read about such service, but as always just can't remember the url. I've been waiting for my order from a site that doesn't email tracking info, and it's getting really annoying.
TIA

If you have the UPS/Fedex number you can track it at both of their websites.

If you have the address where the package was shipped from, (may have been drop shipped from an unknown location) the shippers name and the recipients name and address, call the UPS or FedEx 800 number and they can find it for you.

Thank you, guys. I'll most likely follow dkozloski's advice and just call UPS tomorrow. Still curious about the site though...
Has the order been shipped happyhamster? my experience with ups, fedex and so is that they come through pretty quick. Most of my long delays come from back orders from factory itself!

Lets say you could track for any packages coming to you just by your putting in your address. that would be cool. Now imagine a thief entering your address and he sees your expected to get a nice big package tomorrow morning while your at work...not so cool. Tracking numbers were impleemented to help stop such things from happening, sort of like a passwrod to get into your adrress. But after working for UPS and now working for a company handling ups claims, if you sound legit enough and hammer away long enough, you can get operators to sometimes search for packages going to a specific address.
