dead pc

seems like the pc was attacked by a virvus. it slowed to a crawl,and then died. i rest the bios by removing the battery. when you boot the hard drive spins up. the floppy select light doesn't come on although the cd reader does. there is no video or audio alarms. do I need a new bios or is there something else i can do the bring the pc back to life

This happened to me once....was told I had "spiked" the mobo when I reset the bios. Had to buy a new mobo.
