Right now, I have everything on default. It works fine, but I was just wondering if there are some things I should change to optimize it? I dont know much about some of the more complicated settings and there is no place to get explanations on all of them. btw, I have: 800bird, 128MB, 30GB IBM HD, GeForceMX, 16X DVD, etc. thanks

Use the BIOS performance setting of "Optimal", as it offers the best performance without having to modify each single option. Asus has already preloaded the highest performance settings when selecting this option.
